The University Center of Tlaquepaque, as an integral part of the University Network of the University of Guadalajara, is conceived as a multidisciplinary space committed to the development of academic programs that respond, with quality and relevance, to the educational needs of the region at the higher education level.

This University Center is not only dedicated to professional training, but is also a driving force for social transformation. Through scientific research, knowledge transfer, and a multi-, trans-, and interdisciplinary approach, it fosters critical and humanistic thinking. Its work promotes equity, inclusion, respect for the environment, social responsibility, and the building of a culture of peace, contributing to the reconstruction of the social fabric and collective well-being.
