Fans enjoy the 2026 World Cup final at the CCU FutFest

With a packed house and a festive atmosphere, FutFest celebrated the closing of the 2026 World Cup with the broadcast of the grand final between Argentina and Spain. From 13:00 PM, attendees gathered at the University Cultural Center (CCU) to experience the tournament's final match in a space that brought together families, groups of friends, and fans of all ages.

The colors of both teams were on display, and the attendees enjoyed a match marked by the excitement, camaraderie, and enthusiasm that characterized FutFest throughout the World Cup.

Wearing the Spain jersey, Axel García attended the event for the first time with his partner and highlighted the experience he had during the final. "It's a great recreational space that can be enjoyed and is very well organized.", Dijo.

During the broadcast of the game, the flags of Argentina and Spain waved among the fans, while families enjoyed the food available at the venue, which included golden potatoes, popcorn, beers, micheladas, soft drinks, hot dogs and baguettes.

Sandra Martínez, who attended FutFest for the fourth time, highlighted the atmosphere at each match. “It’s a very family-friendly space to enjoy the games”, he mentioned.

For his part, Manuel Jiménez, who attended accompanied by his son and wearing an Argentina jersey, noted that the event allows people to experience the passion of the World Cup in peace. “It’s a very peaceful place to experience the World Cup”, He said.

Among the attendees was Valeria Rodríguez, a student from CUCEA, who came with her family and a friend to enjoy the final. “I have attended on several occasions and it is a very peaceful place to watch the games, especially since it is my Alma Mater.”, Dijo.

The excitement reached its peak in the 106th minute, when Ferran Torres scored the goal that decided the match and granted the championship to the Spanish national team. The goal sparked celebration among the attendees, who responded with applause, shouts and chants to celebrate the Spanish victory.

The attendees of FutFest celebrated Spain's championship with euphoria amid shouts, applause and jumps, thus concluding the celebration of the 2026 World Cup in an atmosphere of conviviality, joy and passion for football.
