The collection, which took place over almost two weeksHe managed to gather mainly non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, first aid equipment and rescue tools such as shovels, picks, helmets and lamps, donated by the population.

Guerrero Fausto explained that, due to the international nature of the support, it was necessary coordinate efforts with federal agencies, particularly with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Navy, to guarantee the transfer of supplies by sea or air.
