Research-oriented program; full-time, classroom-based, lasting four semesters and part of the Sistema Nacional de Posgrados from the SECIHTI (Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation) formerly CONAHCyT.

I. Government and public policies.
II. Institutions, behaviors and political communication.
III. Political culture, civil society, citizenship and social movements.
IV. International politics, geopolitics and security.
DURATION OF THE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM
The Master's program in Political Science will last 4 (four) semester cycles, which will be counted from the registration and start of classes.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Call for applications opens: February 11.
- Application period: From February 11 to July 7.
- Registration for CENEVAL: From July 7 to 14.
- Application of EXANI III-CENEVAL: August 23.
- Interview: August 25.
- Course/diagnosis: From September 1st to 5th.
- Course exam/diagnostic: September 8th.
- Admission decision: September 26.
- Document submission to the School Control Office for admitted students: November (to be confirmed).
- Online registration for registration payment: November (to be confirmed).
- Courses begin: January 16, 2026.

Applicants accepted into the postgraduate program are not guaranteed access to a living stipend; the allocation will be subject to availability and the criteria established by the SECIHTI in the respective calls.
